Crofts Estate

A working farm set in the stunning Galloway hills

Crofts estate is extensive in size with two farms, large woodlands, a mountain, lochs and beautiful gardens, which you are welcome to explore.

Design

All of the Crofts' Cottages have been expertly decorated in a style that is in keeping with the local area and the rustic aesthetic. Quality is everything and so we make sure our cottages are maintained to the highest standard.

Championing local artisans is important to us so the cottages and landscape are decorated with the work of local artists wherever possible.

Exploring

We want you to feel welcome to explore the land on the estate. The cottages are all close in distance to each other: Marwhirn House and Cottage are fully detached but 25 yards from each other and share a drive. Gardener’s and Stables Cottages are close by with attaching gardens. Arkland Mill is just a short drive away. Each has a garden for your own private use but also shares land with the main house and farm.

We want you to feel totally at home, whilst being mindful that this is a working farm. Please be aware of the Countryside code - keep dogs on leads, leave gates as you found them, use hinge end of gates or stiles to cross walls, take your rubbish with you, respect the livestock.
